Little Wiwa® Play Rugs are made with premium quality 35mm high density foam with a soft mink coral fleece polyester blend that makes the play rug plush and luxurious feel underfoot.

We strongly recommend ordering a play rug swatch before purchasing. As opened Play Rugs cannot be returned for change of mind, swatches are the best way to confirm the colour in your home before placing your order.

Our Play Rugs are designed to be soft, comfortable and practical for everyday family life.

If you have micro-cement/ concrete flooring, we recommend avoiding placing your Play Rug directly on the surface. The non-slip backing may react with micro-cement finishes and can potentially cause marking, discolouration or damage to the floor.

We know your floors are just as important as your rug, so please check your flooring is suitable before use.

Daily Cleaning:

• Vacuuming regularly using a low suction setting
• Removing crumbs, dust and small debris from the surface
  

Regular light cleaning helps maintain a hygienic and comfortable play space for little ones.

Spot Cleaning

For small spills such as milk, water, food or other minor messes:

1. Blot the spill immediately using a clean, dry cloth or paper towel
2. Prepare a mild detergent mixed with warm water
3. Gently dab the affected area with a soft cloth
4. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing the fabric surface
5. Allow the rug to air dry completely

Prompt cleaning helps prevent stains from setting into the fabric to maintain the longevity and freshness of your play rug.

Deeper Cleaning

For heavier stains such as vomit, food spills or accidents, a steam upholstery cleaner such as *Bissell spot cleaners may be used to help lift stains from the fabric surface.

When using a steam cleaner:

• Follow the cleaner respective manufacturer’s instructions
• Use a gentle or upholstery setting where possible
• Avoid oversaturating the play rug with water
• Always allow the play rug to fully air dry before use.

To ensure your play rug arrives safely, the Little Wiwa® play rug is carefully folded and vacuum-sealed for shipping. 

When you first unbox your play rug, you may notice:

• Minor or deep temporary creases or compression marks
• The rug feeling flat or thinner than expected
• A slight size difference of 1-2cm 

This is completely normal - these marks appear because the foam has been compressed during transit. 

To help your play rug return to its full plushness, simply unroll it and let it relax naturally over the next few days. As the foam settles and expands with regular use, the play rug will gradually reach and inflate to its intended full 35mm thickness and size and laying completely flat.

Want to smooth creases a little faster?
• Lay a slightly damp cotton tea towel over the area
• Gently iron on low heat, or
• Lightly steam the surface
