Your Little Wiwa® Play Mat is about to become the cosiest, most-loved spot in your home - from tummy time and crawling to story time and family snuggles.

But before the adventures begin, there are just a couple of quick things to know when you first unbox it. Because your play mat travels tightly packed to arrive safely at your door, it may need a little time to relax and expand back up to its full plush glory.

Here’s what to expect when it arrives…

When you first unbox your mat, it is completely normal to notice:

• Minor creases or curled edges
• The mat may feel firmer from compression
• A slight size difference of 1–2cm when first unrolled

This happens because the foam has been compressed during transit.

Simply unroll the mat and allow it to relax naturally over the next few days. As the foam settles and expands with regular use, the play mat will gradually reach its intended full size and lay completely flat.

If you notice stronger creases or edges:

1. Roll the mat in the reverse direction

2. Secure with the Velcro straps

3. Leave overnight and then unroll again
