Before First Use

  1. Remove all packaging materials and keep them away from children.

  2. Our play mats are rolled tightly for shipping to reduce volumetric weight. Once removed from the box, unroll the mat and roll it gently in the reverse direction to help release minor creasing and allow the mat to relax.

  3. Depending on how long the mat has been stored in packaging, it may take a few days for the mat to fully settle and flatten.

  4. Due to the nature of foam and tight packaging during shipment, a marginal size difference of approximately ~1–2cm may be noticeable when the play mat is first unrolled. As the foam relaxes with regular use, the mat will gradually expand to its intended size.

  5. If you notice stubborn edges or stronger creases, roll the play mat in the reverse direction and secure it using the Velcro straps. Leave it overnight, then unroll it and place it face down to allow it to settle naturally.

  6. Before first use, simply wipe the mat clean with a soft cloth and warm soapy water.

Everyday Cleaning

Our waterproof play mats are designed for easy, everyday cleaning.

For daily care, simply wipe the surface with:

• A soft cloth
Warm water

For stubborn marks or grease, you may use a mild pH-balanced soap diluted with warm water (1:5 ratio), or Mista Wiwa. Gently wipe using light sweeping motions with a clean damp cloth.

Avoid scrubbing or applying heavy pressure.

Cleaning Products to Avoid

To maintain the appearance and longevity of your play mat, please avoid using:

• Alcohol-based cleaners
• Strong or abrasive cleaning agents
• Alkaline cleaning products
• Essential oils or eucalyptus oil
• Steam cleaners

Many baby wipes contain fragrance stabilisers and alcohol-based preservatives. While occasional use may not show immediate changes, prolonged use may weaken TPU materials and cause discolouration over time.

If you choose to use cleaning products outside our recommendations, we recommend performing a spot test on a hidden area and allowing it to react for 48 hours before full use.

Please note that any damage or discolouration (immediate or gradual) caused by cleaning methods outside our recommendations is not covered under our Warranty Policy.

Storage

If storing your play mat, keep it in a dry and well-ventilated area.

Areas with poor ventilation or rising damp may cause mould or mildew to develop, which may not be reversible.

Usage & Safety Tips

To keep your play mat looking its best, we recommend:

• Using the mat indoors or in well-ventilated spaces
• Keeping the mat away from prolonged direct sunlight
• Avoiding sharp or hot objects on the surface
• Avoiding heavy furniture placed on the mat for extended periods
• Removing shoes before stepping on the mat

Pens, markers, and permanent ink should also be avoided, as ballpoint pen marks are not removable.

While our play mats are durable, they are not designed for pets, as claws may puncture the material.

Accidental Damage & Repairs

While our TPU play mats are designed to be durable and hard-wearing, accidents can occasionally happen. Whilst it provides safety, it is not fool-proof and may get damaged accidentally like most items we own.

Small tears can often be repaired quickly using fabric glue available at sewing or craft stores to bond the material back together. Here is a short video to guide you with the process.Yes
